A BIG Announcement !!!!!!!!!
The OSK’s Board of directors has voted to start a VENTURE CAPITAL FUND for future Scale O National Conventions ( SONC ). These funds will be used to provide for up front expenses, i.e. advertising, legal fees, deposits on convention swag and cars, hotel, insurance, etc. etc. The driving force is that we do not want a select few that would be willing to host a national convention to feel they have to front funds for said conventions. These would be loan based funds with full repayment expected when convention concludes.
To get the fund launched, We are offering 12 Atlas O, 2 Rail PFE “ICE SERVICE” cars which will come with a signed numbered Certificate of Donation, and special box labeling. Cars are available in 2 numbers. To avoid shipping and all that comes with shipping: expense, possible damage, etc. We would like to deliver these cars at the upcoming Chicago Show, March 14 & 15 on a prepaid basis. If your not attending the show, shipping can be arranged for additional fee.
Donation, which includes 1 car is $120.00
