Those O Scale 2 Rail (OS2R) modelers who attended had a great time with the clinics and layout tours receiving particularly high marks. The event organizers have received lots of positive feedback.

Thank you to the O Scale National Convention LLC Committee Co-Chairs Bob Kjelland and Michelle Kempema, and their Executive Committee, who did “boots on the ground” work in Denver to prepare for the Convention. OSC has a long history of supporting the National Convention. Many on our leadership team worked on the convention: Vice-President Eric Peterson, OSC Board Members David Schultz, Joe Norman, and Nick Bulgarino all did what was necessary to make it work. Secretary Ken Nesper provided on-site assistance.
Dan and Amy Dawdy of O Scale Resource, and Chicago March Meet’s Chair Brad Kowal provided strong support. Skyler Shippy deserves special thanks for bringing and operating the modular layout from the Detroit Model Railroad Club, as does Ron Maxfield for bringing the impressive Denver Union Station model from the Oklahoma City Model Railroad Club. Thank you all.
Thanks also to the clinicians, those who opened their layouts, worked registration, judged the contest, and helped during load in and load out. Thanks to the vendors who came out; we know it was a long drive out and back. And thanks to the guys who registered for the show, many also from far away. It takes a community to make a convention work. Thanks to each and all the members of that community for bringing it together.
