This month’s program will include:
- The September program will include a conversation with Dan Dawdy, Editor and Publisher of O Scale Resource, OS2R’s free bi-monthly online magazine. Dan will tell us how and why he started OSR, how it operates and where he sees it (and the Scale) going.
- We will also talk with Dennis Brennan, whose company (Brennan’s Model Railroading) produces a number of interesting model kits based on Structures of Frank Ellison.
- Also in September, Miniprints offers hundreds of detail parts, all 3D printed, all scalable to be available in O Scale. Miniprints’ Bernie Hellen will tell us about how Miniprints operates and O Scale fits into his product line. Hint: it is on an equal footing with other scales.
- The program will include a layout tour of David Vaughn’s Nickel Plate Road / Canandaigua Southern layout, which integrates three different historical layouts – including John Armstrong’s famous Canandaigua Southern – into a single 18’x90′, multi-level layout. Featured in Great Model Railroads 2016, much has been added.
