The Detroit Model Railroad Club invites you to join us for our spring
O Scale Gathering operating session at 104 North Saginaw in Holly, MI.

The session will begin at 9:00 AM with coffee and doughnuts while you tour the
layout and get oriented with our railroad. Feel free to take as many pictures as you
would like. Around 9:30 AM we will gather upstairs in our club meeting room to
go over our operating system, our throttles, and to make crew assignments.
Operations will run until about 1:00 PM. For those who have to get home, we
thank you for attending. For those who are still hungry for operations after lunch,
we will make new crew assignments and get going around 2:00 PM and operate
until we run out of things to do.

Our club has about 6000 feet of hand-laid track for our 2-rail O scale layout. We
run freight and passenger trains with both steam and diesel locomotives using
wireless DCC throttles from NCE. Train lengths run from a 2-car RDC to a coal
drag nearly 50 feet long. Jobs range from working the large classification yard or
switching local industries up through heavy main line operation.
This session is open to anyone interested in railroad operations regardless of
scale. Please pass this invitation along to anyone you know who would like to take
part. Watching trains run in circles is fun but running trains that have a purpose is
even better.
