DESCRIPTION:RESERVE THE DATES:  FRIDAY\, OCTOBER 17\, 2025 AND SATURDAY\, OCTOBER 18\, 2025 \nThe Meet will be held at the Archery Traditions of Oklahoma in Yukon\, OK\, a suburb of Oklahoma City (same facility as last year).  Doors will open for set up at 11:00AM on Friday\, October17 with trading beginning when you are set up and continuing until 9:00PM.  On Saturday\, October 18\, we will convene at 8:00AM with the Meet closing at 3:00PM.   We will have clinics scheduled for 9:00AM and 10:30AM along with a “show and tell” program at 1:00PM\, all on Saturday.   WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING A MODEL OR PROJECT\, FINISHED OR UNFINISHED\, TO SHOW.  Following the Meet\, all are invited to visit the Oklahoma Model Railroad Association & Museum\, Inc. “O” Scale layout at the Museum in Oklahoma City. \nRegistration information will be coming in a few weeks. DESCRIPTION:The next OSC Online will be held on October 19th at 4:00 p.m. EDT on Zoom – will include a presentation by Daniel Raible on 3D printing: an in-depth overview of how 3D printing works\, start to finish\, and\, even better\, how to make 3D printing work for you. Daniel is a true 3D wizard.  He has a terrific power point which lays it all out.  This is a “don’t miss” presentation.  Watch for the invitation\, which will include one-click link and meeting ID and passcode. \nAlso included in the October program will be an introduction to the new O Scale modular standards.  The construction of layouts comprised of interchangeable sections offers ways for modelers who lack room\, longer time horizons and money to build layout sections and operate on relatively large layouts. But modular layouts also offer opportunities for modelers who have downsized into smaller spaces and given up larger layouts to continue to participate in the Scale. And it offers a way even for modelers who have layouts to become part of a larger community. \nThe presentation will also include an introduction to a new modular group which has been established in Maryland\, using the standards\, to build a modeling community\, develop modeling skills\, promote model railroading hobby\, and 2 rail O scale in particular while having fun.  If this sparks your imagination to start something similar in your area\, that is one of the purposes.
